Design Inspiration
The idea behind this sofa is to have the looks of iconic sofas of the 1970s like the Togo by Ligne Roset and the Camaleonda by Mario Bellini, while also being comfortable and usable as an every day sofa in normal sized houses.
It should take you to the late 60s, early 70s era when Fleetwood Mac and The Rolling Stones ruled the airwaves.
Turn off your mind, relax and float downstream and all that.
The vibe is low to the ground, loungy and comfortable.
Fabric Info
Fabric Type: Velvet
We chose velvet because it is one of the hardest wearing fabrics out there.
It isn't a shiny or crushed velvet (unlucky to the Live Love Laugh brigade).
Composition:
- 80% Polyester
- 16% Modacrylic
- 4% Viscose
What's included?
1 x 3 seater sofa.
Each sofa comes with 4 small wooden feet.
Proportions
The proportions are something we have spent a lot of time thinking of to make a sofa that looks unreal, is comfortable and fits in a normal sized house.
It is low to the ground, but not so low that it's impossible to get up.
The back is relatively low but high enough to be comfortable for lounging in front of the TV.
The seat is deep and loungy but not so deep it takes over your whole room.
How does it feel?
This sofa is designed to look and feel like a marshmallow but have enough firmness to last the test of time.
The soft upper layer of foam gives it a marshmallowy feel you can sink into.
The foam underneath, which you would find in standard sofas gives you the support you need so you can't feel the frame underneath.
Underneath that are springs to give it a bit of bounce.
Will it last?
This sofa is designed to change with time.
It will become more wrinkly, the fabric will become looser.
Like one of those dogs that has got too much skin. Is it a Shar Pei?
That's exactly the way we like it.
We think these sofas get better with age.
It isn't for everyone though.

Will it fit through my door?
This is something we unfortunately can't say as we haven't been to your house.
**We strongly recommend measuring all door frames and corridors on the route into the room you want it in.**
This is a very large sofa and only comes in one piece.
Getting through tight doors and going around corners can be tricky.
Have a look at the measurements and measure your doors and corridors it needs to come through.
Is it soft or firm?
This sofa feels like a pretty standard sofa in terms of firmness.
We have developed it to be nice and springy and soft enough to sit on and use as your every day sofa.
It is made out of several layers , each with different levels of firmness.
On top we have a very soft fibre, designed to give it that squishy feel and aesthetic.
Underneath that, there is standard upholstery foam on top of springs.
This is what you find on most sofas.
Underneath that there springs like you find in most modern sofas.
This gives a comfortable, springy support, so you don't feel the frame underneath and it also keeps its shape well.
Where is it made?
All of our sofas are from start to finish in Warrington, Cheshire, overseen by our expert upholsterer Carol.
